Kia Motors will re-close West Level, Ga., meeting plant March 30 over coronavirus issues



Kia Motors America, after closing its Georgia plant two days final week over provide chain issues and reopening Monday, will droop manufacturing once more starting subsequent week because the trade copes with the coronavirus pandemic.

The West Level plant which builds the Optima, Sorento and Telluride will shut March 30 and is scheduled to restart April 13. Kia stated in an emailed information launch that the downtime features a beforehand deliberate April 6-10 shutdown for new-model tools adjustments.

The plant's workstations will bear cleansing and disinfecting throughout the closure, Kia stated.
