Democrats and Republicans on Monday continued negotiations over a large stimulus funding package deal that did not get sufficient votes in a key Senate procedural tally Sunday night.

A Senate vote on the invoice initially deliberate for 9:45 a.m. ET has been pushed to midday, individuals conversant in the state of affairs instructed CNBC.
