Trump says he'll 'most probably' be examined



President Donald Trump mentioned Friday that he'll "most probably" be examined for the coronavirus â€“ minutes after he mentioned that he is not going to take any precautionary measures following his shut contact at Mar-a-Lago with a Brazilian official who was recognized with the illness.

Trump, talking within the Rose Backyard after declaring the outbreak a nationwide emergency, mentioned that he has no signs of the COVID-19 virus and had not been suggested by White Home medical doctors to obtain testing.

When a reporter requested if he was being "egocentric" by not getting examined – even when different administration officers suggested self-isolation after publicity to an contaminated individual – Trump pushed again, "I did not say I wasn't going to be examined."

Requested if he would obtain testing, Trump mentioned: "Most definitely, yeah. Most definitely. Not for that cause, however as a result of I feel I'll do it anyway."

Trump added that he would do it "pretty quickly."

"We're engaged on that, we're figuring out a schedule," he mentioned.
