Trump cancels plan to signal coronavirus invoice at CDC in Atlanta

WASHINGTON  President Donald Trump is not planning to journey to the Facilities for Illness Management and Prevention headquarters in Atlanta, an administration official stated Friday.

Vice President Mike Pence, who's main the federal government's response to coronavirus, had stated Thursday that Trump was planning to signal an $8.three billion emergency spending invoice on the CDC.

"The president is not touring to Atlanta as we speak," stated an administration official, who declined to be recognized. "The CDC has been proactive and ready for the reason that very starting and the president doesn't wish to intrude with the CDC's mission to guard the well being and welfare of their individuals and the company."

A consultant for the CDC did not instantly reply to a request for remark.
