Connecticut will transfer its 2020 major to June 2 from the initially deliberate April 28 in response to the lethal coronavirus outbreak, Gov. Ned Lamont introduced on Thursday.
"In coordination with different states and our Secretary of the State, and in an effort to hold out Democracy whereas preserving public well being a high precedence, I've determined to maneuver our presidential major to June 2nd," Lamont tweeted. "I'll present extra info later at the moment."
