Tesla is protecting its Fremont, California automobile plant working throughout "shelter in place" orders initiated throughout counties within the San Francisco Bay Space to curb the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, together with Alameda County the place the manufacturing facility relies. 

Staff at Tesla obtained emails about working through the pandemic and shelter-in-place orders late Monday, together with one from CEO Elon Musk, and one other from former compliance lawyer at Tesla, Valerie Workman, now head of HR for North America. CNBC has seen copies of each emails. 

Within the the "everyone" e-mail about remaining regardless of the efforts to include covid-19, Musk wrote:
