The Senate will cancel its recess deliberate for subsequent week as Congress scrambles to answer the financial results of the coronavirus outbreak, Majority Chief Mitch McConnell mentioned Thursday.

"However the scheduled state work interval, the Senate will likely be in session subsequent week," the Kentucky Republican mentioned in a tweet. "I'm glad talks are ongoing between the Administration and Speaker Pelosi. I hope Congress can move bipartisan laws to proceed combating the coronavirus and maintain our economic system sturdy."
