JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon was discharged from a hospital Thursday, one week after he underwent emergency coronary heart surgical procedure.

"We're delighted to share with you the excellent news that Jamie left the hospital in the present day and is again at dwelling," the financial institution's co-presidents, Gordon Smith and Daniel Pinto, mentioned Thursday in a workers memo. "Whereas we don't plan to offer common updates about this, we wish you to know that his docs mentioned he's doing very nicely in all points of his restoration. He's in good spirits and looking out ahead to reengaging with our staff quickly."
