OPEC kingpin Saudi Arabia unveiled plans Wednesday to dramatically ramp up oil manufacturing, elevating the stakes of an all-out worth struggle with non-OPEC chief Russia.

State-owned oil behemoth Saudi Aramco mentioned Wednesday that it had been requested by the Saudi power ministry to lift its manufacturing capability to 13 million barrels per day (bpd), up from 12 million bpd at current.

The oil-rich kingdom has been pumping round 9.7 million bpd in latest months, but it surely has loads of spare capability to pump extra crude, with tons of of tens of millions of barrels additionally in storage.
