Honda has turned to Dave Gardner, CEO of its Canadian unit, to run the auto division of American Honda Motor Co. within the U.S. after final month's abrupt exit of Henio Arcangeli Jr. in a dispute over his future function on the automaker.

Gardner's appointment is efficient Might 1, and his formal title will probably be govt vp and enterprise unit head of automotive gross sales. He may also be govt vp of the components, service and technical enterprise unit, Honda mentioned in a press launch Monday.
